Classified Ad Network (KCAN)

The Kansas Classified Ad Network can help you sell it, buy it, promote it, announce it or find it. With KCAN, your classified ad can appear in more than 140 Kansas participating newspapers and reach nearly one million readers.
Rates. $300 for one insertion of a 25-word classified ad, and $12 for each additional word. Pre-payment is required prior to all KCAN placements. Checks, Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted.
Deadline. The ad and payment must be received by 5 p.m. Tuesday prior to the week you want the ad to run in the newspapers.
Run dates. The ad will run in the participating nondaily newspapers on the day they publish. It will run in the participating dailies on one day, which is selected by the newspaper.
Tearsheets. Tearsheets will not be provided but an affidavit of distribution can be sent to the advertiser upon request.
Placement in other states. KPA can place your classified ad in other state networks at the rates set by each individual press association.
Restrictions. Ads must adhere to standard advertising regulations (disclaimers, copyrights, etc.). Kansas Press and the participating newspapers reserve the right to reject and/or edit any ad. KPA does not accept ads that contain: 1-900 numbers, 1-800 numbers that refer callers to a 1-900 number, or ads that request money for product information or samples. Adoption ads must be accompanied by a letter from the attorney representing the party.
