AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE.
Kansas Press Association sponsors its annual Awards of Excellence competition to recognize outstanding work by Kansas newspapers. The 53 contest categories focus on writing, photography, design, special sections, advertising and newspaper web sites. In 2010, 77 Kansas newspapers submitted more than 3,500 contest entries.
