AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE.
Kansas Press Association sponsors its annual Awards of Excellence competition to recognize outstanding work by Kansas newspapers. The 34 contest categories focus on writing, photography, design, special sections and newspaper web sites. In 2008, 94 Kansas newspapers submitted more than 3,400 contest entries.

ADVERTISING CONTEST.
Kansas Press Association sponsors an Advertising Contest each year to recognize outstanding newspaper ad concepts, design and revenue ideas.
